Two similar scenes of Fishermen on the Rocky Coast of Sorrento’ dating from the late 1820's are in the collections of the State Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg and the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow (both illustrated, see exhib. cat. The Light of Italy, Sylvester Schedrin and his Russian Contemporaries, Paintings and Drawings from the Russian Museum, G. Goldovsky and Y. Petrova (Ed.), May 2 - September 30, 2007, Villa Fiorentino, Sorrento, no. 11, ill. and p. 19).
